Program: Community Center

Situated in historical Philipino town, the community center is made up of multiple rooms of varying programmatic uses. In plan they are arranged and grouped in three parts but in section and elevation they are grouped in a different way by sharing or not sharing the roof. Adhering to my previous projects that used a squishy materiality concept, the rooms in plan seems to be squished inward with the inner poche forming the circulation of the building, the exhibition room has also been pushed upward to create a second floor.
